The Challenge
Lily was cast in the lead role of Annie in a high-profile UK tour, performing in multiple cities over six months. While this was an incredible opportunity, it meant she would be away from her London school for extended periods, with a demanding rehearsal and performance schedule, often six shows a week.
Her parents wanted to ensure she kept up with her academic progress, particularly in English and Maths, while managing the intense schedule of a professional production.
The Solution
MVA Tutors assigned Georgia, a qualified teacher with experience in both classroom and 1:1 tuition, and a strong understanding of working with child performers. Georgia travelled with the tour for the first few weeks and then provided a combination of:
