Minerva Tutors would like to reassure our families, tutors, and staff that our first priority is safeguarding the health and wellbeing of all in our network at this time. Here is our Coronavirus Action Plan.
Here are our aims concerning our staff and the continuing ordinary functioning of the business:
- to minimise the spread of the infection
- to safeguard everyone’s health and wellbeing, both physical and emotional, including those who have been in recent contact with any of our team members, thereby to safeguard Minerva’s ability to continue operating through this difficult time and its long-term survival
Here are the steps we have taken to achieve this:
- all staff working from home since Monday 20th March
- all inter-office communication to be done via online services such as email and Google Hangout since Monday 20th March
- no face-to-face meetings will occur until further notice
Regarding our tutors, their tutees, and our customers, we have implemented an emergency strategy within our Coronavirus Action Plan which has the following aims:
- to minimise the spread of the infection
- to preserve and foster relationships
- to offer free advice and counselling where possible
- to permit, where possible, the continuation of our services
Here are the steps we have taken to achieve this:
- All previous face-to-face meetings between our tutors and our customers ceased on Monday 20th March
- All tuition has been moved online, halted, or postponed
- All tutors have been invited to join free online tuition training sessions
- All parents were invited to join a free online tuition training session, held on Wednesday 25th March at 10.30am
The Coronavirus Action Plan is under constant review. We are monitoring governmental advice and official guidance, proceeding on a day by day basis.
Best wishes to all at this time,
Hugh Viney
Director of Minerva Tutors
